Inky dark fruit, spice, leather, incense, licorice, menthol and dried herbs all race across the palate. The 2022 screams with Howell Mountain character. It is such a vivid and expressive Cabernet. That is impressive, especially for the year when things picked within certain dates show quite a bit of volatile acidity.
