A hint of incense lends smoky appeal to black cherry and black currant notes in this juicy, fruit-forward wine. Silky tannins and youthful black-fruit flavors make it immediately enjoyable but this elegant, penetrating wine should hold well through 2026.

Built around a foundation derived from domaine holdings in the lieu-dit Noizons, the 2019 Pommard Village (Maison Louis Jadot) offers up aromas of red berries, plums, raw cocoa and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, supple and charming, it's lively and succulent, with a pretty core of fruit and fine, powdery tannins.
Vinous
- v85-87
The 2019 Pommard Village has a simple, slightly earthy nose, a little rustic but decent enough. The palate is fresh on the entry with modest depth but it feels a bit simple and monotone on the finish compared to some of Jadot's other more entry-level wines.
