A gorgeous nose of honeyed peach, apricots, flowers, and quince all emerge from the 2016 Cyprès De Climens, which is the second wine of Château Climens. With full-bodied richness, low acidity, and an expansive, opulent texture that keeps you coming back to the glass, this hedonistic Barsac is ideal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years, even if it will keep longer.

This great Barsac estate has created this second wine that reflects both of the elegance of the top wine and the ethereal nature of Barsac. The wine balances dryness from the noble rot and honey and marmalade flavors in abundance. Drink the wine now. Organic and biodynamic.

Pale to medium lemon-gold colored, the 2016 Cypres de Climens is a little subdued at this youthful stage, offering glimpses at candied orange peel, key lime pie, crème brûlée and musk perfume scents plus a touch of fungi. The palate has a wonderful line of freshness cutting through the densely packed flavors, finishing long and earthy.

Alluring, featuring a singed coconut hint amid notes of mango, peach and apricot. Shows glazed fruit on the finish, with a flash of almond cream. A more opulent style of Barsac. Drink now through 2028.
