Subtle, with a perfumy profile of cinnamon, powdered ginger, hazelnut husk and toasted sesame notes leading the way, backed by mouthwatering date and dried fig details and a lengthy finish. Drink now.

The NV 10 Year Old Tawny Port was bottled in 2016 with a bar top cork and 111 grams per liter of residual sugar. This is a pleasing tawny with a bit of spice, but only modest concentration. It is, of course, a 10 Year Old. What a 10 typically does well is be fresh and easy, with good balance. That is nicely done. It has only modest structure and an average finish to go with the average concentration, but it certainly tastes great.

Nutty aromas are followed by a soft and sweet style of wine. It has just enough acidity and wood aging to keep it vibrant. Sweet fruits and molasses flavors give a smooth, attractive and fresh wine.
